REVIEW: Krave Jap Cheek Blush
Posted on

image

I’ve been having a lot of breakouts lately and I’m grateful for products that can still make you look good without sacrificing your skin’s condition. Like these new blushes from Krave, a local mineral makeup brand that I support. In times like these, I avoid applying makeup or if I need to, I make sure that the products I’ll be using are not too heavy and still let your skin breathe. Krave’s products are organic, cruelty-free, and hypoallergenic.

REVIEW: Maybelline The Rocket Volum’ Express Mascara in Waterproof
Posted on

image

It’s been a long time since I last posted a mascara review. So today’s review would be Maybelline’s The Rocket Mascara which has been raved by a lot of YouTube gurus and bloggers for quite some time now. Mascara is one of my staple beauty products. I have sparse and stick-straight Asian lashes, I solely rely to mascara as a way to make my lashes more noticeable everyday. For me, it doesn’t matter how gorgeous your eyeshadow looks, or how perfect your winged liner is, without great looking lashes no one will notice.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: BabyKiss Body Lotions

image

Have you heard of this new beauty and skincare brand called BabyKiss? Their products are not yet sold locally in stores but BabyKiss is pretty popular online. The brand actually originated from Thailand but their products are formulated in Korea and Japan. They offer body, face, and health products. BabyKiss’ lotions, Wink Body and CC Body, are some of their bestsellers! Did I already mention that their products smell like freshly-baked cupcakes and pastries?  BabyKiss was introduced to me by Pink Sorority, they carry other Asian beauty and skincare products (mostly from Korea) as well. I was given samples to test out BabyKiss. This post will not focus on the products’ in-depth reviews; instead I will introduce each product and summarize my experience in a nutshell.

REVIEW: MAC Lipstick in Please Me
Posted on

image

I’ve been meaning to try MAC’s Please Me for quite some time so I was really happy to finally get it last month. I’ve featured this lipstick and two other shades from the same brand in my July 2014 haul. The main reason why did I get this lipstick is because I often see local celebrities like Kathryn Bernardo channeling Please Me, even professional makeup artists highly recommend the said shade because it complements any skintone. The words sweet and feminine best describe the color.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Colour plus texture for the lips that made M·A·C famous. Please Me Lipstick is a light-medium creamy pink with subtle yellow undertones. It has a matte finish — pigment rich with intense color pay-off and no-shine.

PRICE
Php 950 (CareFreeShopper)
